What to Expect
We are excited about your decision to be our guest at Woodland Terrace Missionary Baptist Church. We understand how it feels to visit a church for the first time and we want you to be as welcome as possible.
Our Beliefs:
We are a Conservative based, Missionary minded, Independent, KJV 1611 bible believing church. Children are welcome and encouraged to attend our services as we are a family atmosphere who gathers around the table together. Our goal is to expound the Word of God, evangelize the lost, empower and support missions around the world, edify and equip the saints of God, encourage the weak, and exemplify the Lord Jesus Christ until He returns. We believe in Old Time Preaching, Praying, and Worship of the LORD Jesus Christ.
Our Dress:
Church is a “hospital for the hurting” and your treatment at Woodland Terrace will not be based on what you look like or are wearing. Whether you are a fellow believer looking for a church to call home, or someone who is looking for help, you will be welcomed here. Our church family will be typically dressed in our “Sunday Best” because church is the highlight of our week. We hope that after a visit or two, you will see why we enjoy church so much.
Our Worship:
We do our best to come together as the body of Christ and worship the Lord, “in the beauty of holiness.” Our music is patterned after the Scriptural principle of “psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs.” Our praise is offered to glorify God for Who He is and what He has done, because we believe salvation should be enjoyed, not endured! Our preaching is intended to exalt the Saviour, exhort the believer, and evangelize the sinner.
Offering:
At some point during the service, we will worship the Lord and support the work of God with our freewill tithes and offerings. Visitors are welcome to participate in this part of the service, but you will certainly not be expected to do so.
